Our B-10 and B-20 Lag Acoustical Pipe and Duct Wrap is a flexible 1 lb or 2 lb per square foot reinforced foil-faced faced mass loaded vinyl noise barrier. It is typically used to wrap noisy pipes and ducts to block the noise that transmits through the walls of the pipe or duct as air or other contents move through it as well as to increase the sound absorption in the cavity. The reinforced foil-faced exterior serves as a protective jacket for indoor or outdoor applications. It is easy to cut, wrap and install with matching lag tape. Sound Seal's Pipe and Duct Wrap is a Class 1 fire-rated material and is available in rolls 54'' wide x 30’ long.

The sound absorbing quilted fiberglass absorber/decoupler improves the sound proofing performance of the noise barrier as well as to provide sound absorption and thermal insulation around the pipe or ductwork. Installation of Sound Seal Lagging and Wraps around noisy pipes or ducts can achieve noise reduction up to 20 decibels. Sound Seal Lagging and Wraps are designed to block noise that transmits through the walls of the pipe or as well as to increase the sound absorption in the cavity.
