Sound Barriers are 1 or 2 lb pound per square foot non-reinforced or reinforced
loaded vinyl barriers used to stop the transmission of noise from one area to
another. Typically used in a drywall and stud construction to improve transmission
loss between rooms and as the barrier component in Industrial
BSC composite products. Standard rolls measure 54" wide x 30' long.
Non-Reinforced
Vinyl Barriers: - Used as a noise barrier ceiling tile (typically in
conjunction with fiberglass) above standard suspended ceiling systems.

Used underneath carpeting to improve transmission loss of a floor

Used between dry wall and stud construction to substantially improve transmission
loss between rooms.
Reinforced Vinyl Barriers:
